Question 1
How long will shipping take?
It can take between three days and two weeks
depending on the model and your specific requests.
We ship worldwide.
Question 2
What ballistic protection level should
I order?
Level II-A, II and III-A will stop the majority
of bullets out there, such as 12 gauge, OO
buckshot and magnum rounds. The Level III
and Level IV vests will protect against machine
gun rounds and other high velocity rounds.
Of course no vest can provide absolute protection
against firearm threat but will provide the
utmost protection possible under given circumstances.
The lower protection levels are less restricting
but also provide less protection.
We usually recommend Level II-A or II due
to its comfort and wearability comfort. However,
please investigate beforehand what type of
rounds you are likely to encounter. In a war
zone, don’t wear this!
Level IIIA is worn by most policemen. This
is the most acceptable vest in de industry
with regards to safety, cost and its ability
to be worn as a concealable vest.
Level III and IV require ballistic inserts
and are thus heavier and also more expensive.
The plates will provide better blunt trauma
protection as well as the ability to return
fire upon impact. These vests are highly desirable
under machine gun threats and high velocity
rounds.
Refer to the ballistic test chart for more
detailed information on the protection specifications.

Question 3
What about rifle and submachine gun
protection?
Rifle and submachine guns are capable of
delivering more power to the rounds, thus
rendering soft armor ineffective. Therefore
we advice the use of hard armor inserts which
upgrade a level IIIA to a level III or IV
in the front and back. Eagle Eye offers plates
made of Ceramics to cover the chest
or back. Soft body armor vests only provide
pistol and shotgun protection.
Question 4
How comfortable are Eagle Eye bulletproof
vests?
Eagle Eye bulletproof vests are as comfortable
as they come. Only extreme heat can present
a certain level of discomfort, but does not
outweigh the benefits of wearing one. It just
takes a little getting used too at first.
Question 5
Do you have a printed catalog?

Question 8.
What materials does Eagle Eye use for
it's body armor?
Eagle Eye’s scientifically engineered
body armor jackets are of superior quality
and are designed for a broad range of use.
This has been accomplished by using a combination
of the most advanced materials on the market
today through complementation of the material’s
characteristics. Some of our bulletproof materials
are:
Kevlar, Ceramic and polyethylene materials
including
Dyneema, Spectra, Famostone and
Aristone. These materials combined give our
jackets a high tensile strength, high elasticity
and buoyancy or heat resistance where applicable.
Moreover, comfort and usability have also
been greatly improved by the addition of tactical
fiber shells that are waterproof, windproof
and breathable.
The overall activity-improved design by using
human body engineering not only provides a
comfortable fit but also a secure protection
of your life the moment you put on Eagle Eye
body armor.
1. DYNEEMA (SPECTRA)
This brand new fiber with the combining properties
of 3GPa of Tensile Strength and 172GPa of
Modulus, has an excellent absorption coefficient
of shock power, and the density(0.97GR/cm3)
is lower than water(1GR/cm3). It is regarded
as an advanced technology material enabling
us to make the products lighter than before.
After the attacks of september 11th, airlines
decided to enforce their cockpit doors with
Dyneema.

2. KEVLAR
Dupont Kevlar, as a product of updated-technology,
keeps possessing its characteristics as a
fabric in severe outer conditions. It is high
heat-resistant up to more than 400°C and
cold resistant up to -160°C. It also has
more than 3.5GPa Tensile Strength and 50-110GPa
of Modulus as well.
3. STABOND
Stabond will perfectly protect you from ice
picks, knives, razor blades, shanks and sharp
daggers. It also works as an excellent bulletproof
material.
4. CERAMIC PLATE
This is a specially made bulletproof plate
strong enough to protect people from submachine
guns. It protects against 7.62mm Full Metal
Jacketed bullets and U.S. military M80 shot.
It is a bulletproof plate of great strength
providing protection against 30 caliber armor-piercing
bullets as well. It's weight ranges from 2.70 kg
for Level III to 3.20 kg for Level IV.
Question 9.
Is the anti-stab body armor also
bulletproof?
Yes, the anti-stab body armor is
bulletproof according to the ballistic levels.
Vital bodyparts are protected with Stabond.
This material is a little bit heavier than
the other bulletproof materials we use, but
has excellent anti-stab and bulletproof properties.
Question 10.
Is it possible to order a product
in another color then the colors mentioned
at the website?
Yes, this is possible. Please let us know
which color you want or send us
a sample so we can check our fabric stocks.
